Brilliant Minds Enrichment Program will make a BIG difference in your students lives.  This is not because the program is fantastic; it is because the structure of the program sets you up for success and allows you to be fantastic! After all, the most influential element in the classroom is the teacher. Hands down.

Small class sizes, elongated time for simple lessons, consistent parent contact, and subjects that are a blast to teach will remind you daily why you started teaching in the first place. Yes, you have to commit extra time after your long day of teaching, but when the subject content is “your students,” the learning is always interesting and the teaching becomes extremely playful and fun.

Compensation

Brilliant Minds believes that teachers deserve higher pay. Higher pay is exactly what you will get as a Brilliant Minds teacher.  

You will be paid based on a set number of hours whether you go over those hours or under those hours. Your work week with Brilliant Minds will be anywhere from 3 to 8 hours, depending on the course you chose to teach, how quickly you learn to teach it, and how efficiently you manage the students. Each week consists of about 1 hour of planning, setting up, signing out, and cleaning up (you will be planning and prepping about 3 hours at the beginning, but the planning gets easier as you adapt to the curriculum).  

Class Design

Brilliant Minds offers three enrichment programs taught after school in your own classroom twice per week. Classes will not exceed 12 students and it is not recommended that you teach your own students, unless you request to do so. Every class has a one mandatory parent workshop per month. Don't worry! All presentations and materials are packaged and ready for you to shine!

Enrichment Programs

Foundations:          1 hour class = 8 hours per month plus planning time

Explorations:          2 hour class = 16 hours per month plus planning time

Expressions:           3 hour class = 24 hours per month plus planning time
